By Prensa Starmus In News Starmus 2014. The inspiration that keeps us going! It is the force that keeps us alive, and makes us look forward to complicated new challenges, the impossible a priority. It is the inspiration of such pioneers as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, who both presented at Starmus 2011, the first two humans to set foot on the Moon. The ability to make the impossible possible, the vision not of what is….. but what could be! Starmus Festival is returning in 2014, from 22 to 27 September in Tenerife, and it does so in great style, ambition and hope, keeping the same spirit but changing its skin slightly. Starting with the “leitmotiv” of this second edition, ‘Beginnings: the making of the modern cosmos’, we intend to shed some light on some of the biggest mysteries of the universe, with the help of some of the most talented brains of our age in astronomy, physics, chemistry, arts and science in general. Three big names that have already confirmed their attendance are Robert Wilson, Nobel Prize winner in 1978, Sir Harold Kroto, chemist and Nobel Prize winner in 1996, and Richard Dawkins, ethologist, evolutionary biologist and well known scientific author. We will continue confirming participants as the date of the Starmus 2014 is getting nearer. So we would ask you to put us in your diaries and to look out for further announcements. Because in the end the inspiration that keeps us going is you, being able to offer you the best, the challenge of making sure it’s an experience you will not forget, to make you deeply happy, just for a moment.
